1. Introduction


The MX83073P is a single chip keyboard encoder, these devices detect the key press and release activity, sends the scan code to system, and accepts the command from system. The MX83073P function both in USB and PS/2 interface environment. For PS/2 interface, it supports IBM PC AT and all compatible machines. For USB interface, it supports the USB standard request version 1.1 as well as HID class request version 1.1.

The MX83073P is the most powerful USB+PS2 keyboard encoder. It is a high performance & crystal-less & low cost BOM solution with the minimal external components.
