How to survive in a crowded market with global downturn? As one of the primary IC companies in consumer electronics, Sigma Micro has experienced rapid expansion. We interviewed Lei Jin, the President and CEO of the company.
Lei told us that his company has been focusing on innovation and service in order to create high added value. Sigma Micro has transformed from a low end IC design company to a higher margin company with new products including 32bit, 8bit based MCU and SOCs.
Lei indicated that he primarily focus on market which will last for a long time, and then do whatever is possible to grab a significant market share as soon as possible.
The company has strong interest on touch screen and touch key related products. Lei believes that touch screen and touch key will change the way we interact with electronic products, and even the next generations more than we ever expect.
Sigma Micro has put significant effort to continuously improve product quality, and ships nearly 500K ICs every day.
